FRANÇOIS GRENIER CERAMICS

ONE is the first exhibition of The FIL Collective, a group of three local artists working alongside one another and finding inspiration in each other's work.
Originally conceived in 2019 as a full gallery exhibition, COVID-19 restrictions led to delays but have altered the exhibit in scope only. In its essence, strength, and energy, ONE is fundamentally unchanged.
A full window exhibition available for viewing at all times, François Grenier's modified installation Cornu Deficientia, Isabelle Milot's study of potter Dame Lucie Rie, and Lisa Sylvestre's textile studies of local architecture, all highlighting very specific facets of each artist's individual work, and encapsulate aspects of their continually evolving personal and collaborative practices.
